I will get dressed quickly, wake and dress my little girl, shovel some breakfast down our necks and check my suitcases for probably the 3000th time... a few hours later we'll be sat on a plane due for Detroit, and saying goodbye to our life in England! In 27 sleeps time, we will waking up to the rest of our lives in America!!!
I'm so excited, but it's all kind of dulled by the amount of stuff still to do. So far the list is...
* Sell, give away or pack the entire house
* Travel down south and see my Dad
* Buy tickets to travel down south and see my Dad!
* Inform bank, landlord, post office etc.,
* Say goodbye to everyone
* Persuade darling daughter that she really doesn't need to take 35 cuddly toys with her, as we can buy more there
* Try an imagine how much stuff can fit into 10 3.5 cubic feet boxes

Actually getting rid off all our worldly goods seems to be the biggest headache at the moment... some of the things you can't even give away! I wish I had a fairy Godmother somewhere, who could sort all this out for me in the flick of her wand! Anyway, onwards and Statewards!!!
